Final Two Heats

We are now down to the final two weeks for the first ever Friday Freezeout league.  With last week’s 3rd place finish for Craig Festou, and the ever present Phil da Silva not making it to the final table, the two of them are now neck and neck.  With Ricky Weir away for another week with the Island Games it looks like it will be a straight battle between these two for the first place prize.
Down at the bottom end of the table anyone one of ten players who makes the final table over the next two weeks, has a chance of making the shootout for the FREE package to a major UK event.  The Club72 poker team have a few trips planned for the second half of the year so the package winner will get a choice of events to play in.

Final Four Heats For The Friday Freezeout

So far we have played 16 rounds, and with only 4 left to play there is still plenty to be decided and still plenty to play for.  At the top of the league it looks like a 4 way battle for the 1st place prize between Phil, Ricky Weir, Craig Festou and myself, that is unless someone else goes on a good run in the last four heats.
There are also plenty of players who can still make it into the top 5, all of whom will receive a share of the £1000 league fund, with Mark Dicker currently sat in 5th there are only 5 points separating him from 10th placed ‘Diamond’ Dave Corbel.
The race for the final ten is also a very interesting battle with as many as 15 players all with a realistic chance of making the top ten and a place in the shootout for the FREE package to a top UK poker event, final table appearance will be vital in the final few weeks!!!
