Club72 Poker Is Moving!!!
As many of you may know we have been deciding for some time whether to move the poker club or to renew the lease of the Club for another year. After looking into quite a few new ventures we have decided to move to “The Earl Grey” pub. The new place can be found in First Tower, only a couple of minutes drive away from Club 72 on La Route de St. Aubins. Our final night in Club 72 will be this Friday 2nd December, Tuesdays cash game is being played at Gary’s house (1 week only), and then our Grand opening night will be Friday 9th December.
So why have we decided on “The Earl Grey”....... Well a few reasons really, firstly we have our own dedicated poker room. Not only did we need a room that was dedicated, but a permanent room that was not going to be used for anything else, our poker tables aren’t the standard fold away ones so we wanted a room we could keep everything out permanently. The pub is open 7 days a week, so we have no restrictions as to when we can open too. Moving to a real ale house allows us to have a fully stocked Bar, and a half decent pint for those that like to drink. The pub has everything you would expect too, with a dart board, both snooker and pool tables and most importantly we still have a late license until 1am.
For those of you that drive there is a multi storey car park across the road or alternatively you can park on the Esplanade and walk across the road, either way there is plenty of parking available too. We are having it painted as I type, and once we move all the tables, chairs and TV’s in, it will be ready for our first Friday Freezeout..... see you there!
